Holiday Marketing Plan Day 4 – Identify your target part 1

Today in Small Businessville we are going to discuss how to identify your target market and then how to look for ways to reach them. To do this we are going to need to break this step down over to days. Today you will review your client list and identify those trends you noted a few days ago. You are now going to match your clients to your new pricing structure. We need to take note of what was being spent so you can determine why your current customers buy from you. If you don’t have clients yet you will need to create an image in your mind of the type of person you will need to attract in order to sell what you have to offer. You are going to be reviewing a lot of material that you have created so lets get started.

Holiday Marketing Plan Day 3 - Pricing and Branding

It was a landslide and I want to thank everyone for voting me back into office as Mayor of Small Businessville. Hopefully yesterday you got a chance to find your break even point and then you figured out how much money you would need to make in sales to cover those expenses and give yourself a comfortable salary. Today we are going to cover the importance your company’s image plays when people are forming perceptions of the quality of your product or services. An important part of your brand image is pricing and there must be a balance between your price and the perceived value your company is able to communicate. It’s easier than it sounds.

Holiday Marketing Plan Day 2

It’s Election Day in Small Businessville and all over the rest of the country. Today I am going to give you some work to do while you stand in line to vote for 5 hours. Yesterday we set a goal of finding out what tactic we will use to get clients and you may have started to think about your message. Today we are going to set a monetary goal and solidify your message by looking at your clients you have and profiling them. One of the biggest things you need top know when setting a monetary goal is your break-even point. It doesn’t do any good to make a million dollars in sales a year if you have a 1% profit margin. If you sold a million dollars worth of product or service and only made ten thousand dollars it’s possible your making a lot of other people rich but not getting anything for yourself. So grab a pen, a notebook, and head to the poles. While your there remember your profit margin and we’ll get to work.
